African Union Internship Program 2026

The African Union Internship Program gives young Africans the opportunity to gain practical professional experience while supporting African Union programmes, projects and activities. Interns may work in areas such as education, technology, trade, peace and security, health, human resources, communications, gender and youth, legal affairs, finance and information systems. Requirements: • Motivation letter • Valid passport or national ID • Academic certificates • Current CV • Recommendation letter from the applicant’s institution • Basic computer and communication skills Experience Required: Previous work experience is not required. Duration: Three months, renewable once. Funding: This is an unpaid internship. Interns are responsible for their travel, accommodation and living expenses.
